The Bugaroos Tooth Care Movement was created to make oral health fun, friendly, and accessible for every child and parent around the world. We believe every smile deserves care, and every family deserves the tools to make it happen.

Through our books, music, and educational materials, Bugaroos helps children understand how nutrition, brushing, and regular dentist visits can shape lifelong healthy habits.

  ✍️ Behind Every Great Mission Is a Storyteller Who Dares to Dream 
  
  

• Meet the Author & Storyteller – Garry DeArmond  Born on November 8th, 1962, in Miami Beach, Florida, Garry DeArmond’s passion for storytelling began as a young boy. With his identical twin brother, Jeff, and their family stationed in Frankfurt, Germany, Garry grew up listening to timeless children’s tales that sparked his lifelong love for creative writing. In 1997, a life-changing encounter at a parents’ conference with children’s author Laura (Mac) McGrath inspired Garry to follow his calling. Leaving behind a successful computer software career, he courageously invested everything into bringing his dream to life. That decision gave birth to his first book, Bugaroos®… The Adventure Begins

  Working closely with artist Nick Huff for three years, Garry personally guided every detail of the Bugaroos’ world, their vibrant look, playful spirit, and heartfelt stories.

  Over the years, Garry expanded the Bugaroos universe with books like Bugaroos®… We Are What We Eat! and Bugaroos®… A Brush with the Tooth Fairy, blending fun storytelling with lessons in health, nutrition, and dental hygiene.

  To share his vision further, he founded the Bugaroos® School Program, an enrichment initiative aligned with Sunshine State School Standards, which has reached hundreds of thousands of children across Florida and the U.S.

  For nearly 20 years, Garry has been devoted to educating young minds through engaging, meaningful stories. Today, from his home in Jupiter, Florida, he continues to write, inspire, and lead the Bugaroos mission, helping families everywhere laugh, learn, and love their smiles. 🌿
